Technology acceptance research: Meta-analysis

Rapid digitalisation has resulted in a literature about technology acceptance that is ever increasing size, naturally creating debates the developments field and their implications. Given size of range factors, theories applications considered, this article reviewed relevant using meta-analytical approach. The objective review was twofold: (a) to provide comprehensive analysis factors contributing investigate effects, depending on theoretical underpinnings, (b) explore conditions explaining variance effects predictors time-, application- journal-wise. This analysed data from 693 papers. A total 21 independent having differential attitude, intention use behaviour were found. different frameworks they related to. consistency role suggested there no longitudinal change effect sizes. However, significant found when comparing across research journals which papers published. publication bias demonstrated tendency publish studies with results, although evidence p-value manipulation.
